At Nicholson Ceramic Tile we believe in doing a quality job and bringing the project in on time.  We have been involved in all forms of ceramic, porcelain and stone installation projects ranging from simple home remodels to industrial automotive parts facilities to hospitals and schools.

We have been primarily a commercial tile installation company over the last three decades.  However within the last few years we have also began good working relationships with high end residential builders.  Working with some of the premier residential contractors in Lexington, KY.  We offer not only a quality job done in a timely manner but we also make ourselves available when issues arise and offer very competitive pricing.


Our Owners
Hoby Nicholson started in the tile business over 40 years ago in Northern and central California.   He began working for tile setting unions in the SanFrancisco area.  After the move to Kentucky in 1973  he began his own business.  Hoby started in residential and quickly moved into the commercial arena.
In 1985 he brought his son Nathan into the business as a partner.  They have worked together since then and continue to take pride in the projects that they are involved with.
